DIVIDE-AND-CONQUERAm I doing this right? Should I be doing this differently? I believe these questions weigh heavy on the minds of all cartoonists posting on the web.

This episode features a fairly lengthy explanation on why I took a break from podcasting. Where I was, what I was doing, etc. So, no real notes on that.

For the main topic, Divide an Conquer, weighing my thoughts on whether diversifying where your comic posts is a good or bad thing, I do have some links and info for y’all.

First off, I mention an older blog post of mine, 5 Things That Have Changed Since I Started Doing Webcomics. You can find that here:

I also mention several older free webcomics hosting sites from “back in the day” you can check some of those out for yourself here:

The Duck (formerly Drunk Duck): http://www.theduckwebcomics.com/

Smack Jeeves: http://www.smackjeeves.com/

And if you’re curious to see some of my old comics that still exist on “The Duck” here’s a couple links to those, as well:

Mastorism: http://www.theduckwebcomics.com/mastorism/

Explosion Proof: http://www.theduckwebcomics.com/explosion_proof/

Finally, I get into a discussion about Tapastic. Despite my teetering on whether to host your own, host on Tapastic, or do both, I really love what they’ve put together, and think that it’s great for the comics community. A really solid and well functioning site, to boot (which is something that was severly lacking in the free hosting days of yesteryear). Here’s a link to them:

Stir Fry Comics on Tapastic: http://tapastic.com/series/Stir-Fry-Comics

I think that covers the links and notes for this episode. Thanks for tuning in!
